77 year old Cecil Mills died on a Washington Street, because of a firefighter refusing to help him because quote, "I have to be dispatched first." As the man died the firefighter stood next to a fire truck, just watching the man die. People attempted to call the ambulance but they said they had a mix-up with the address, so the ambulance was delayed.
What do you think the firefighter should have done? Help or Not? What consequences do you think should be taken to the firefighter that stood by and watched?

Interesting story! Good summary and while you did reply, you could have replied more frequently.
I think that the firefighter should have helped, even if he has to be dispatched first. This is horrible for him to watch the person die, while he is right there. They should change the rules so they can help people even if they are not dispatched.
I think that the firefighter should have helped since it is his job in the first place. Something should be done about that because an innocent man had died.
Why would you just stand there? Firefighter or not we should all help each other. That is absolutely ridiculous. Dispatched or not help the man.
I think that the fireman should have just helped the man because it would have been the right thing to do even if there are rules saying you can't. I think that the firefighter should be relieved from service and not be allowed to be on the firefighting squad.
It shouldn't matter if the firefighter was dispatched or not. He just sat around and watched Cecil die, instead of helping him and possibly saving that man's life. I understand that as a firefighter you have rules, but isn't saving a life more important than rules?
No person should ever just stand by and watch a person die. It's not about "being dispatched," It's about being a descent human being.
I think the fire fighter should have helped because it is his job to protect people and save lives. Somebody was dying right in front of his eyes and he should have done something to help the person dying. Obviously there are rules, but people were asking for their help, and they didn't get any.
I think that the Firefighter should have helped the man it shouldn't matter it's common courtesy. Would you want someone to help you ? That's what the man should have thought instead of being selfish.
I would've wanted the fireman to help me, I agree with what you're saying. He should have done something.
