  • If I lived in California I would move out and re-locate only if I knew the fire was threatening me and my family. I think in the future people should be more safe with fire hazards especially in California since it is extremely dry and windy.

  • I think people just need to be very prepared for things like this because they keep happening in the same areas and then they need to just be safer with like camp fires and everything that starts them.

  • If I lived in California and a fire was coming near my home I would start packing anything I didn't want to lose and would fly to live with a relative who lived in a different state farther from the fires.

  • I would try and get prepared just in case the fire gets close to where I live, and if I knew my house was going to be in the fire then I would leave before the fire gets there. Be prepared just in case something like that might happen again.

  • If i were to be living in California during this time i would have left long before the fires grew to the size that they are now. A home can be replaced but a family can't. I believe that smoking is a big part of the cause of wild fires so i think that cigarettes and other tobacco products should be banded. "Only you can prevent forest fires".

  • If I lived in California I would leave and stay with some relatives or a friend who lives out of the state or the surrounding states. I would just move somewhere away from the forest so I would never have to worry about the fires again.

  • if i was in california than i would just try to get out of there maybe go stay with some relatives until the fires are gone. and in the future if i wanted to stay away from the fires and stuff i would just not live in california.

  • If I could I would try to get ahold of other family members and would see if I could come stay with them until it's over. Maybe wet lands if we knew it would start up soon so the land wouldn't be as dry.

  • I would stay as long as i could but i would be packed just in case we were evacuated.  Moisten the areas more so they arent more prone to fire or other things so prevent the areas from catching on fire

  • Well if I was in an area of danger I would probably relocate to a different area for the safety of myself and my family. I don't know if there is a way to prevent them but maybe there are some ways to making putting the fires out easier.
