Fire/Double Homicide in Deloit, IA

A fire that led authorities near Denison, Iowa to the discovery of two bodies at a rural property is being ruled a double homicide.Authorities have arrested three people in connection with that crime.The Crawford County Sheriff and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation held a news conference Thursday, informing everyone that three people from Denison, Iowa were arrested.26-year-old man,  19-year-old man,  and 36-year-old women are each charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of first degree arson.The property and a pickup truck outside of Deloit, Iowa were found fully engulfed in flames Monday afternoon.The bodies of 80-year-old man and 81-year-old were found in the aftermath but the state medical examiner says the man died of multiple gunshot wounds and the woman died of homicidal violence before the fire."The trailer was, how I would describe, for lack of better words, totally burnt." The suspects were stealing scrap metal from the farm. 

I think this story is horrible. I grew up in Deloit and my whole dad side lives there. It just makes me sick that someone would some more old people. What do you guys think about this story? How would you feel if your house was burned down or lost a family member in this fire?

    This is awful things like this shouldn't happen in the small towns of Iowa.  Worse things happen every day we just don't hear about them. This is a big deal because of location.

    I think that this is just terrible. No one should have that happen to them but especially not to 80+ year olds. I would be devastated if I was the family of the two elderly people.

    These people are just stupid, for stealing scrap iron, killing people, and burning them to kill them, sending out a giant signal saying' "come over here, there's a fire."

      Yeah exactly. Its also a good thing they caught them or else i would be kinda freaked out to live out on farm.

      Yeah especially since for me ive been up there before and now its just weird seeing the house gone.
