Fire Burns more than 71,786 acres in Texas.

This fire had traveled 12 miles in less than four hours. Started in Stonewall county then moved to King and Knox county. It destroyed two houses and could possibly hit a dozen more. Officials say it will take several days to put the fire out.

Woah that's scary. I hate how fires can move and spread so fast. Why does everything have to be so flammable!

That is definitely a big fire. I don't even know how I would react or what I would do if I found out the fire was coming.

in texas? doesnt this sort of thing usually happen in california?

That would take enormous amounts of water to put this fire out. There would have to be a ton of firetrucks there and a lot of people. i wonder how this even started? and days before they get it out? thats crazy
