Saturday, April 8th a fire broke out on the 50th floor of the Trump Tower in New York City. The casualties included one named Todd Brassner and 6 firefighters were inflicted with minor injuries. Brassner a 67 year old man was pulled from the flames but was unconscious and unresponsive, he later died from his injuries at the hospital. The fire however, was contained on the 5th floor and was put under control by 9pm which was 2 hours after a citizen report. No members of the Trump family were in the tower; Donald Trump before the death of Brassner complemented the firefighters and said the fire was "very confined" in his "well built building". Brassner's apartment was worth roughly 2.5 million dollars according to documents from 2015. A cause for the fire has still not been determined.
What do you think caused the fire and do you think it was on purpose?
If you were the Trump family, What changes would you make to make sure another fire wouldn't break out?

Good job overall! Be sure to inlcude your personal thoughts within your summary as well.
1) I'm not really sure what I think caused the fire. I think multiple things could have caused that fire and I really don't think that fire was on purpose. If they do think that they could easily just go back and check the cameras.
2) I would just check everything over to make sure everything is working properly to make sure that a fire never happens in the Trump tower ever again.
I don't think this fire was on purpose because a 67 year old man would be a pretty random target. I think it would have to be an accidental fire. I know that fires aren't 100 percent preventable but if I needed to, I would put in some more alarms and sprinklers.
I dont think it was on purpose maybe the owner forgot to shut of an oven or left a candle burning. I would be very shocked if this was an intentinal fire because what would be the reason behind someone trying to burn down Trump tower.
Yes I could see it being an accident by the owner of the apartment by just leaving something important unattended. But I think there is always a chance, and more so considering it is Donald Trump, that it was planned.
I'm sure that the fire had must've been an accident because a 67 year old man, that lived there, doesn't seem likely to ry and burn down the Trump tower. If I were the Trump family, I would have fire sprinklers all around the building to try and stop the fire at is starting point.
I don’t think this fire was on purpose because Trump could be hated but the people who are over there are not trump so I don’t think anyone will try to hurt innocent people just to get a revenge on Trump. And if I were the trump family I will just make investigations to make sure that every building is in correct condition.
I agree with your reasoning about hurting innocent people, but maybe this person was against the rich altogether. He/she could be a socialist radical if that is the intention but I think that's going way out of the park. But for the most part I think No-one in their right mind would do that.
I don't know what caused it but I think it was an accident because if someone wanted to set it on fire, they would've set the whole builing on fire. I would make sure that every room has a fire extinguisher and smoke detectors. I would try everything I could to find the cause of the fire.
Most likely it wasn't on purpose but their is a huge chance that somebody did it on purpose; considering that he is the president. I would see to whatever cause the fire and find changes I could make to prevent another one.
