A church in Florida was flooded with calls when one Sunday a fifteen year old boy stood in front of a church and Pleaded for someone to Adopt him. Two weeks ago the boy put on a black suit and a borrowed tie and got in front of the church and asked someone to adopt him. The church secretary Cynthia Coney said that the outcome was amazing from all the calls they got for the boy. He hasn't been adopted yet but it does look good for him and hopefully it works out.
Would you ever be able to stand in front of a large group of people and do something like this? If you were able to do you think you would adopt or think about adopting the boy?

Much better job replying in this post!
I think that's really beatitude. I would never be able to do that. But it must take so much courage for the boy. Whoever adopts him is lucky.
This is an amazing story. I don't think that I would be able to stand in front of people, but that would take a lot of courage. I hope he gets adopted. If I could, I would adopt him. Everyone deserves a loving home.
I think this little boy is really brave for what he did. I know that there is probably no way I could have done this. When I think about it, this little boy was obviously pretty desperate. I think that if I was in his position, maybe I would have done what he did. I hope he gets adopted into a good family.
If I was desperate enough for a family then I think I would do this in front of that many people. I think it depends on what kind of child the parents would want to adopt, if they want a social kid who's not shy then I think they would really want him.
I don't think i would ever be able to do that! But what better place to do it than in a church. that's sad it doesn't look good for him. He deserves a family to take care of him. Do you know what happened to his real parents?
The kid wanted a family so he found a solution to his problem. I hope he finds someone to adopt him.
I think I could stand in front of a large crowd for something like that expecially if I was desperate for some love and attention. Also yes I would adopt the boy he has a lot of courage and probably a big heart that needs to have some love from a family.
Why he can't support himself?
It's unfortunate that there are people left on the streets and have to go to these lengths to find a home, but that is the truth of life. There are simply parents that can't handle the responsibility of a child and have to put them up for adoption. It definitely shouldn't happen this often and to this extent and we should do what we can to find these kids good homes
