I am looking for feedback from students that have had teachers use either Schoology or Haiku.

What do you think of it Haiku or Schoology?

If you used both, which one did you like better and why?

Do you prefer either of those sites to my Ning website? Explain why or why not.

  • I have never used either of these two, but I do like this ning site because it is easy to navigate and find your way.
  • i havent tried haiku..but i have heard from friends that they dont like it.. i am using schoology for accounting and its good... there isnt anything wrong with it.. i personally like ning.. it makes doing things online for school fun i think...

  • I like Ning because it's easy to understand and its more "student-friendly". We use haiku in accounting and personally, i think its confusing. There isn't certain places for things and its hard to keep track of where everything is.

  • I am using Schoology in Accounting, it is very user friendly. The only con of using Schoology vs. Ning is that on Shoology I can't save blog posts as drafts.
  • Schoology is really cool and easy to use, but I personally enjoy your using Ning. Maybe it is just because I have used Ning for CWI last year and US history this year. Schoology might work for other subjects, but I don't think you need to change your site.
  • Schoology is prettty easy to use and I like it. I also like ning though. I think ning would work better for this history class than schoology would. I just think it's easier with the blogs and all. But I think ning would be harder in some other classes.
  • In accounting, we are going to try them both out. I think that Scholology is very user friendly. It is alost the same as facebook. Everyone knows how to use it. I like ning also. Ning is good for one for 1 class though. I dont know how it would work if every clss used it.
  • I have used Haiku in Mr. Swanson's class. It's pretty easy to get around on the site and I don't have any complaints. It has a "dropbox" so you can hand in projects online and other features that can be handy. Swan says that after a few weeks we will switch to Schoology and see which one we like better. I can't say whether I like Ning or Haiku more; they both are fine.
