FBI Most wanted suspect caught

Terry A.D. Strickland was one of the FBI's most wanted, but he was arrested without violence during a traffic stop in EL Paso, Texas. Terry Strickland was wanted for 2 counts of first degree intentional homicide after shooting two men in a fight on july 17. since then he has been on the run. a 100,000 dollar reward was offered for any information that could lead to Strickland arrest. Because of this, an FBI agent named Doug Lindquist  got a tip on his whereabouts and was able to arrest him a month After He killed those people.

Questions

1. Do you think the FBI could have done any thing to catch him faster?

2.do you think a 100,000 reward is to much?

in my opinion I felt like the FBI did everything the could to lead to his arrest and I think the only way the could catch him faster is if the caught Him in the act of killing those people. I feel like 100,000 is a lot, but they need that much so people fell like it is worth there time to give the FBI information.

  • I think the FBI caught him as fast as they possibly could, especially since he was an intelligent criminal on the run. I don't think think $100,000 dollars is too much especially if he is one of the FBI's most wanted.

  • No I think the FBI did all they could to catch him without harming any civilians or innocent people. No if he is on the most wanted list it might be appropriate to have a big reward to catch them.

  • I feel that the FBI did all they could to catch Strickland as fast as they did.  I think that a month is relatively fast to catch an intelligent criminal on the run, especially considering the lack of information that the FBI had. I don't think that a $100,000 reward is too much, however, I'm not sure what rewards for other notorious criminals have been set at.  Considering that this man was one of FBI's most wanted, I feel that the reward was appropriate.

    • I agree but if multiply people started to give information that money would start to add up

  • I dont think the FBI could have done anything else. I think the FBI gave all they could but there is no other way to try to track him down. I think the 100,000 is a lot but it might get people out and to try to look for him. I hope someone finds the guy so he doesn't hurt anyone else.

  • I think they maybe could have caught him faster because of the advanced technology the FBI has. I don't think it's too much for the reward.

  • With the little information they possessed, catching Terry Strickland sooner would have been improbable. The FBI and other law enforcements usually resort to rewards when in distress. In this situation, I wouldn't say $100,000 as a reward was too much, especially because he took the lives of two innocent men. Truthfully, people are very greedy and would mostly try harder to find information if there was a reward.

  • I don't think the FBI would haven been able to catch the man any quicker. Especially if he leaves no tracks and no one has seen him. I think the FBI did the best they possibly could--given the info they received. I don't think that $100,000 is necessarily too much for a reward. The wanted man was on the top of the FBI's list and had killed two people. I'd say the FBI was probably worried about the man killing again.

    • I agree but I feel like 50,000 dollars would be a little better
