These tests are more responsive and can give you your results in less than an hour and only cost around 30 dollars! China as faced challenges trying to get enough testing kits. Salako, who is head of the agency said, "We thought this one was very important as it will diversify the way testing is done. With this one, all the people in villages and remote areas can be tested by moving the machine to those villages." Nigeria has faced many cases and deaths since October 2 states Nigeria Centre for Disease.

This is not a "hot take". It is a brief summary of a story. Also be sure to reply back to comments much more frequently.
I think it is a great opportunity to bulid off of those tests to get them available to countries around the world. Hopefully the tests are acturate because sometimes cheaper and faster things doesn't necessarily mean top quality. As long as the test are true I think it's a great decision. I also think that if we could use a faster test the cases would go up tremendously. Many people don't get tested because they don't think they have any symptoms. If the tests were faster and cheaper, more people would get tested, meaning there will be more cases.
I think that the test would be great if you knew that the results were accurate every time. I think that if this testing was used there would be a lot more cases becasue there would be a ton of people getting tested and maybe even more false positives.
I think that in theory this is a good system to use for testing. However, the accuracy of the tests also have an impact on whether or not these tests should be used. Of course, the more testing you do, the higher the positivity rate. COVID is everywhere, and a lot of people have it but don't even know. Along with this, quicker tests usuallt aren't as accurate and there could be an increase in false positives.
yes it would be helpful to use a cheaper and faster testing system because if people really do have covid it would be nice to know right away instead of having to wait in supence. I do think that there would be more cases popping up if there is false positives and since its cheaper and faster there might be more false positives.
I think we should definitely look into using this type of testing system because the tests we have now take too long, in my opinion. But, faster results could lead to more false positives. Knowing this, there could be more positive cases, but there will still be people that don't get tested even if they have symptoms.
Yes, I think we should use this testing system because when I had to get tested it took almost 24! For some people, it took longer and that is just too long to wait. I think the prices would get jacked up more in America just because it is America. I think the 30 dollars will jump up a little bit.
Yes, I think this should be looked into and use this kind of testing especially because it is cheap and we would get our test results a lot faster. Im not sure if there would be more cases because some people chose not to get tested just to not be quarantined. But if it were cheaper more people could afford to get tested.
Yes beucase someone could have it and they wanted to get tested they cant if they dont have test where there at.
I think so becuase the test could be not accruate.
I agree because someone could have the sypmtoms of covid and if they couldn't provide a test they wouldn't be able to get tested. I feel like they could be accruate just because you get a quicker result doesn't mean it wont be right.
