Seven families tried to escape Hurricane Irene's grasp, and in return, they are stuck in the New York Catskill Mts. while watching bridges crumble around them. With a total of 24 people- 2 pregnant women, 7 toddlers, and 3 infants!!!Can anybody help these people!?!?!?!? I really want to know if these people are going to be okay, the article also said, they are running out of food and water! I will let you know when they get out as soon as i hear.(i did this in study hall, so the computer wouldn't show the hyperlink thing, so here's the article: http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/08/29/new.york.prattville.stranded/index.html?hpt=hp_bn1 )

I feel bad for those people! That would be terrible to be stuck in the mountains. Especially for those two pregnant people, and the younger kids! That's really sad.
That is terrible, if they are running out of water and there are two pregnant ladies, if they run out of food not only will the ladies not be able to eat for themselves but for their babies! That could be really bad!
I hope someone finds them soon. With the young kids they have it needs to be soon. Hopefully the pregnant women don't go into labor or that could be very bad too.
