Fairground people were doing maintenance on a ride when the car flew off it and hit a little girl named Tayla. Tayla's leg was trapped underneath the car so it took 4 people to lift it off her. Tayla had a broken leg, but it could have been a lot worse if the grandmother hadn't tried to pull Tayla aside. While Tayla was recovering the local health and safety executive did an investigation on the fairground, but the place is still operating so far.
i think this would of been a scary situation but i agree it could have been a lot worse, i hope Tayla recovers well.

They should definitely fix the ride or even just shut it down because nobody is going to want to ride that ride anymore.
That is crazy. I am worried sometimes that that is going to happen because those rides are put up and taken down so quickly. If one thing was done wrong, you could be paying for it.

That is really sad, and i think people shouldn't be allowed to be near the rides when they are being worked on so that this doesn't happen again.
this is so sad. my mom has always told me to stay away from those rides because they are dangerous but i haven't heard of anyone getting severely injured like this. poor little girl. i hope she recovers fast.
I'm glad Tayla didn't have any worse injuries! I wounder how the car was able to fly off like that.... If were in charge I would've shut that park down right away until they figured out exactly what happened and stopped it from happening again. Some rides can be pretty scary when they are in working shape but it's super scary to think that they can malfunction and hurt people like this.

This is why fairgrounds are so sketchy. I never feel comfortable riding the rides at portable fair grounds because some of them are just so unpredictable and unsafe.
Why was it running while they were doing maintenance? They should turn it off.
