Recently a report from The Intercept told all about how the NSA (National Security Agency) can put bad software into a normal person's computer so that the NSA can sneak into someone's web browser. The reports are proven true because they are based off of ex-NSA contractor Edward Snowden. Mark took it to Facebook saying how it goes against Facebook's attempts to protect it's users. He says that our government should be a safety on the internet, not a threat. This NSA statement goes against the accusations that Obama and Zuckerberg had a phone call.
I am on Mark's side. I don't like the idea of the government stalking me or looking at what I do on the internet. I can't believe he actually called the President though!! What do you guys think about this? Do you have a Facebook account? Do you agree or disagree with Mark?

I think that he is brave for doing this because you don't hear about people back talking the president about his job and what he thinks about it. I do have a facebook account, but don't really spend much time on it. I agree with Mark because I believe that the government is taking it too far with all that is happening.
I'm not a fan of the idea that the government monitors every little thing that I do on my computer but I'm not too worried about it. I'm also surprised that Zuckerberg actually called the president. It probably didn't help any.
I think that there are good things and bad things about technology. I don't think that you should ever put anything personal on the internet.

I honestly don't mind the government checking to see what we do on our computers. If you look at stuff you shouldn't what do you care if some random person know's what you're doing. Rather that happen than have the Chinese cyber attack us.

yeah I got an account and I agree with Mark. They make all these things so your computer can be protected and so you have privacy, but whats the point of it when the gov. can see it anyway? that's just kinda creepy having someone see everything your doing online.
I don't think anybody should be able to look at what i am doing on the internet. It's crazy that he actually called the president!!
