There are 16 states in the U.S. that same sex Marriage is legal. Feds are expanding services of bankruptcy, visitation, and release to the other 34 states that are not legal. That means that same sex couples will have the same rights as opposite sex couples. Stating from Attorney General Eric Holder said the Justice Department will issue a memo Monday that recognizes same sex marriages "to the greatest extent possible under the law." I feel as if same sex couples should have the same rights as opposite sex couples because of equality. Its just not fair to give them less privileges.
Don't you think that they should have to same rights as us no matter what it is? Before they had loved ones in jail or they were having difficulties in their relationship and they couldn't do much about it but starting Monday they will have the same rights as opposite sex couples.

Them having the same rights is only fair because opposite sex couples can do way more than them and since people are starting to come around, they are getting more rights
Coming from a Christian perspective I do not believe that they should be aloud to marry when the bible clearly states that they should not be together and that it is a sin, if you are not a Christian I understand why you would not get where I am coming from.
I'm with you on this. Marriage is not a government thing it is a union between a man and a woman that become one before God.
Some Christians dont believe that but others do. I guess its just the way that you view things
it depends if they actually follow the bible or just say their Christians but don't follow what the bible say's.
I think that everyone should have the same right, regardless. I'm glad that the government is finally seeing that everyone should be equal.
I just wish that they would legalize more state marriages for them.
I think it is a good idea to start having equality for same sex couples. All people should be treated equal, with the same rights.
