In biology, evolution is the change in the characteristics of a species over several generations and relies on genetic variation.
So the first question is, is evolution real??
Biologists consider it to be a scientific fact that evolution has occurred and that modern organisms differ from past forms. It's said that Fossils can’t prove that one species evolved from another, but when over time slight modifications occur through the fossils the reality of evolution is hard to deny.Looking at the record of whale evolution that has been preserved in fossils. In the past few decades it has been found that whales has noticable change of fossils bone structre. The oldest known whales the "Pakicetus whale" from around 49 million years ago, looked like land mammals and had ears similar to those of modern whales. This strongly suggests adaptations for hearing under water. Undoubtedtly with this given evidence evolution is real but to what extent? Land mammal adapted to water creature, or monkey to man.
Lasty, should it be taught in school??
Evolution is widely conflicting with many peoples beliefs and even somes religion, therefore making it touchy and slightly controversial as a topic to be taught to kids. Not only touchy is it but there really isn't enough facts over it to teach it as something that will be caried and preached for generations to come.
Personally I think it is undeniably real though only to a certain extent not as extreme as some may belive. I dont belive it should be taught just yet in schools, more research and evidence is needed.
So what do you think?
-Do you think evolution is real??
-Should it be taught in schools??

I think it has things that are true and some that are not. I think it should be taught in schools because not everyone has a religion, so as people that don't have any religion respect our beliefs we should also respect and learn about it. I don't think it is a big deal to learn about what other people say about how life exists.
yes cause how else would we be here and came to be and any other animals be here. yes it should be to know how to works and what we came from.
Evolution is undoubtedly real. Species that have been on this planet for millions of years have obviously evolved and become different versions to keep up with a changing environment, habitat, and world. I think that evolution should be taught in schools because the concept is so ardently based on common sense that it's hard to deny. I understand the religious aspect of it because some people believe that God is the reason behind changing species and not evolution, but you can believe in God and understand the scientific basis of the argument of evolution.
