The West has been dealing with many wildfires the past couple of years. In the article "Evacuations Ordered in Colorado and Utah as Crews Battle New Blazes'', Madeline explains how many locals have been evacuated from their homes due to the wildfires. It would be hard for me to evacuate my home, because I wouldn't know what to save nor would I be prepared to. On October 17, two wildfires in Utah were believed to have broken out, burning about 1,500 acres of land. The Fire Canyon(Colorado) burned over 1,600 acres of land and is being investigated. This is because of people believing to be human caused. If this is true, the people who caused this are cold hearted. It nearly destroyed 900 homes, and more are being evacuated. Knowing this breaks my heart. Taking responsibility for all the damage that is being done is a significant amount of guilt. A local disaster declaration was signed around 1:30 p.m. local time in response to the fire. This allows officers to exercise what cations necessary to make. No deaths or injuries have been reported as of today. This is something that really touches someone's heart because all you wanna do is try and help, but fire is a tricky thing to deal with.

1. What would you do if you had to evacuate your house due to a wildifre?
I would pack what is most important to me and help my family and I evacuate safely.

I would leave for the safety of my family and I, but some people don't have anywhere else to go so they stay.

Good overall but be sure to make it a bit longer. Push for three paragraphs next time.
I think that these wild fires are very devestating and tragic. I went to Colorado in August when the fires had first started. It's really sad to think of all of the beauty and wildlife that are being destroyed by these fires. I feel really bad for all of the people that have to pick up and leave their homes.
If I had to evacuate, I would maybe try to rent some kind of trailer so my family and I could bring as many valuables as we could to save from the fire that would likely destroy our home. I would probably choose to leave if I lived there.
I would be terrified that the fire had gotten that close to my house. I would also be worried about my neighbors. I would also take what I needed the most and I would evacuate. I would leave if they told me to just to make sure I don't get caught up in the fire.
I would mostly be worried about the stuff inside that I really liked and wanted to save. I would evaucate from a fire because it is really dangerous. At least with a hurricane someone might still save you.
I would try to prepare early. And start packing my valuable early. So that when they say you have to evacuate you can do it quickly. It would not be good to lose your house but insurance should help you with that.
If I had to evacuate my home I would grab lsot of my important belongings and some necessities and then I would leave. If I knew there was a fire coming I would try and pack up lost of my stuff, but if there wasn't much time I was just grab a few items. If I lived there I would leave cause I wouldn't want to take the risk of getting caught in the fire.
If I had to evacuate I would grab my most important belongings and my family to some where safe. I would leave my house in a heartbeat if I knew a raging fire was coming towards my house. I think it would be very hard to live life after losing your home to a fire.
Thats a really tough question. I cant say for certain what id do given the fact i would probably be so emotionally shocked to think right. I would hope id be sensible enough to hurridly grab my necessities and whatever is very valuable to me plus make sure everyone with or around me is alright. I personally would try to stay in my home, however, i would make a plan and gather everything i said before in the case of it gets too dangerous and my life is at serious risk.
If I had to evacuate I would personally grab the things I would need in the long run before the fire got too close to me or my house. I would also make sure all my pets were safe and sound with me and my family. if I had a choice I would choose to leave until it became safe enough to come back to my home.
