In recent news a solar eruption was unleashed on Friday may 3. The flare erupted from the edge of the sun shooting out 120,000 miles into space. So far the strongest occurred on April 11 as a mid-level event, the strongest are classified as X and can cause radio blackouts.
I think that no matter what level of flare is pointed at earth it would be harm full.

I think that a lot of times we forget what is actually going out there in space, and that the sun isn't just a yellow thing that keeps us warm. I think we take things like this a little too lightly in our society and should probably keep a better watch on what that big ball of light in the sky is doing.
There are too many things we don't understand but we dont want things that are harful to humans.
This is weird! I hope there isnt any blackouts because the electronics wouldnt work then.
I wonder if those flares do actually affect us on Earth in a small way but we just don't notice them? That would be something I would be interested in knowing more about!
The sun gives off solar flares all the time. It doesn't necessarily mean they will be extremely harmful.
I hope that that couldnt harm us. I am not worried about it but i hope its not possible for it to hit us. There is a lot about space that we dont understand so who nknows anything isn possible.

I don't think there is really anything to be afraid of. People act like if electrical things stop working for a while the earth will explode.
