Energy drinks are commonly promoted as products that raise energy levels and enhance mental alertness and physical performance. Next to multivitamins, energy drinks have become one of the most popular dietary supplements consumed by Americans. Vast amounts of caffeine may cause serious heart problems including heart rhythm disturbances and increased heart rate and blood pressure.
A single 16-oz. can of an energy drink could contain 54 to 62 grams of added sugar. The maximum amount of added sugars recommended is way smaller than that. Scientific evidence shows that energy drinks can cause serious health effects, especially in children and young adults. Energy drinks have been found to improve physical endurance, but there’s little evidence of muscle strength or power.
I don’t drink energy drinks myself mainly because I’m trying not to rely on caffeine to function. If other people do it I don’t care but they are proven to cause a lot of unwanted problems.
Do you drink energy drinks?
What's your opinion on them?
Will you die from this?

Glad you got this posted even though it is three days late. The topic has been done before so no extra credit. Your summary is good but is also a bit brief. The other issue is that you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I drink about 1 monster per day and im doing just fine, and no it does not have any side affects on me. I personally like them, yes they are dangoures only if you over abuse them like some people do. I dont think you will die from 1 to 2 per day.
Personally, I do not drink energy drinks because of the several health problems that it can cause in the future. I haven't had an energy drink before so I don't have an opinion on them, and I won't start because I do believe that you could potentially die from them.
I personally do not drink energy drinks. I think that there are just simply too many negatives and possible future health complications that come with drinking energy drinks to justify me drinking them to get a little boost in energy. I do think that you will die directly from drinking energy drinks, but that paired with other things could lead to a premature death.
I don't drink energy drinks that often just because it isn't very good for the body and I don't really like how most energy drinks taste, when I do drink energy drinks I almost never finish all of the drink.
I do drink energy drinks especially RedBull but mostly for the taste if I drink it for a game, I'm drinking two or three. Personally, I don't think that you directly die from drinking them it's probably the amount of how many you drink and then you'll die from a heart attack or whatever.
I do sometimes drink energy drinks but rarely. They have a effect on me and they tend to make me much more hyper then even before. I think that they can be bad for you and should not be over drank. It really jusy depends on whether someone likes them or not.
I don't drink energy drinks. But I have a question for those who do. What do you do when you already hit the max amount of caffeine? Where do you go if you are already amongst the stars?
I haven't really ever drank an energy drink before, so I don't have a huge opinion on them. I think if you want to drink an energy drink, go ahead. If you don't want drink energy drinks, then don't. It is all dependent on your taste, and if you want to be healthy.
I rarely drink them because I don't crave them often. I think they are high in sugar and caffeine and I do think that they are not good for you. If you drink like about 20 cans of it everyday, then there is a chance of you getting a heart attack or something in that criteria.
