In recent news Hostess, the makers of the famous Twinkies plan to go out of business, lay off all of its 18,500 workers and sell off all of its recipes. This all happened because of a nationwide strike, they will sell off what has already been made.
I think that this will be a huge childhood loss for many people and that no one will be able to recreate the Twinkie like Hostess.

One word.... WHY! or, NO! or, THOSEthingsAREsoGOOD:( ...So, they lose. I sometimes had some twinkies around, waiting for consumption.
wow, why would they do that? everyone loves twinkies. plus, all those people would be thosing there jobs. thats not very good!! then they wouldn't have any money!
Well there goes my day. I think they workers should make a deal and get back to work and stop compliannign and get back to work
I didn't really like Twinkies but ding dongs and ho ho's were pretty delicious. I am pretty upset that hostess went out of business.
RUDEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really like Twinkies that much, but it is a huge loss for people who do. This is also a lot of lost jobs that are much needed in this economy.
It's too bad that Hostess went out of business. I'll miss all of those awesome foods. I wish that those strikers had accepted what they were offered so that Hostess didn't have to shut down. I hope that someone buys the company so that they keep making the food. If someone bought the company, maybe all of those workers could get their jobs back.
I have never really liked twinkies so this doesn't really have much of an impact on me, but I really feel bad for all of the people that got laid off because of this.
To be honest I haven't had a Twinkie in like 7 years. I feel bad for all of the people that are getting let go. That would really stink.
I heard on the radio this morning that Hostess was safe for the next few years. Hopefully this means they'll spend their money on staying in business instead of Lamborghinis and mansions.
