The Olympics is one of the fastest events to sell out of tickets, and with a little over 4 months left they have barely sold 1/2 of the tickets available. The Minister of Brazil's sports in trying to find ways to get rid of all the extra tickets, by having the government buy them and give them to school, and give them to public workers that work in Brazil. It is believed that the tickets are not being sold because of the terrorist attacks and hate crimes happening in Rio, also because of the Zika virus that is spreading around in Rio.

I think people aren't buying tickets for the two reasons listed: the hate crimes and the Zika virus. Those are two very good reasons to steer clear of the Olympics. However, Brazil is beautiful and it's not everyday that you get to go see the world's best athletes competing against one another! I think that I would assess my options, but more than likely I would go.
I agree i also think I would still go, i would just be more cautious than normal.

Actually I think I would go. It's the Olympics so there is lots of security, I wouldn't have to worry about something bad happening. I can understand why people wouldn't to go because of the virus. If I were not to go it would probably be because of the virus.
