My article was about the violence that has been occurring in Egypt after President Mohamed Morsy was forced out of his presidency several weeks ago. The Muslim Brotherhood is the main group causing the country wide terror. The security in Egypt is also causing a lot of controversy due to the way they are handling the situation. They are taking a more violent approach to ending the protests. More than 580 people were killed during the attacks between Egypt's security and the protesters and many more were injured. Many of Egypt's allies are withdrawing their support for the country due to the way the government is handling the situation. The U.S. however, is still giving money to the country. I think that the Egyptian government needs to find another way to end the protests. The way they are handling the situation is killing a lot of innocent civilians, and I think they need to prevent that. I also agree with the countries that stopped supporting the government after the raids. Do you agree with the countries that withdrew their support for Egypt? Egypt Defends Protest Response.

I do agree why other countries are withdrawing their support. I mean look how much chaos is happening. Now that the Muslim leader of Brotherhood got arrested. Not that he did much considering how many innocent people were killed. I am still curios on why the U.S is giving Egypt money?
This is terrifying I read that "Over the past week, about 900 people -- security forces as well as citizens -- have been killed." from the article provided. It's almost like they're already in war.
I agree with you, I feel like they might already be in war.
The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood was arrested today, so I think things will get worse over there. It seems like they would start fighting more and destroying stuff, since now they have no leader. I think it's just going to turn to chaos for a while.
I had no idea that the group was arrested. I agree with you, it will most likely cause more chaos in the country.
Well police brutally isn't only an issue in Egypt. It is an issue worldwide. However I wonder how long the protest will last? With all the death and violence. I believe it's their right to protest.
I am sure that they need to find another way to end the protest. With that said, I do not really support the countries pulling away from Egypt. If they want to help Egypt, they should help them find peaceful ways to end the protest not quit giving them money to make it worse.
I do think that taking money away from the country is a bad idea, however, the government is not using the money correctly. I think they need to use it in a way that they can help the civilians, not how they can use it to fight the protesters. It all comes down to the way they are handling the protesters, which is causing all of the controversy.
I am surprised that we are still supporting Egypt considering they are killing innocent people. I definitely agree with the countries that withdrew support. Is the Muslim Brotherhood a violent protesting group?
The group didn't turn violent until Mohamed Morsy was forced out of office. When he was taken out of presidency is when the group turned to violence to get him put back in his presidential position.
