Education Disparity

Education disparites is one of the top 5 issues in the world. Education disparties like a racial problem Mainly an unequal opportunity where the color line still divides us still today. From the perspective of others who on the daily experience the consequences of on going discrimination has affirmative action that is needed to protect opportunities likely to evaporate if an affirmative obligation to act fairly which does not exist. Minority students are much less likely than white children to have any of these resources. minority schools which most students color attend Are way moore bigger on average than white schools (80% more larger than white school). Cirricular offering is way lower in quality. Teacher are way less qualified in color schools. Researchers have proven that minority school students are segregated in lower-track classes with larger class sizes, less qualified teachers, and lower-quality curriculum.

1. How would you feel if your teachers weren't as qualified to teach you.

I would honestly feel upset that they treat us differently from other kids just because we are a different color from others doesnt mean you need to treat us differently.

How would you as a parent feel if your childs teacher wasn't qualified.

Me as a parent I would move my kid to a different school so he/she gets the same somenwhat of the same education.

  • Kierra,

You chose a good topic but your summary is confusing and does not flow very well.  Be sure to proofread or have someone look it over before posting next time. You also should have replied to most of the student comments as there is only a page and a half of comments.

  • I wouldn't be very happy because I wouldn't know if what I was learning was actually true. I would be outraged because I would be paying for my kid to be taugh by fake teachers.

  • I would feel sad and dissapionted, we are all different and we do different things, I would ask the administration to look deeper into their college. I would be mad at it because some of the people that hire the teachers aren't doing their jobs right.

  • A- i would not like it because i feel like i wouldnt be as smart as all the other kids from the diffrent schools that had teachers that were more qualified

A2- i would be mad and probably switch schools because  i wouldnt want my kid not being as smart as he could be

  • Honestly I don't think whether or not a teacher is qualified matters. Everyone out here is blaming the education as to why they're children arnt doing so well in the real world. Skin color isn't a problem in todays world, its your work ethic. You can still do well for yourself and family without a high education, its a simple fix really, just get a job, get off the streets, and make something of yourself.

    • I disagree I believe that people should be able to get the same amount of education and in this post it is proven that color people have less qualified teachers than white people do. that is a discrimation towards coloredpeople the teachers should teach at the same qualification as other teachers in that state.

  • I would be mad that just because they are of a diffrent race dosen't mean you can just teach them less or not at all

I would find I diffrent school that dosen't discriminate and all the students would recieve the same amount of leaning and not be treated diffrently

  • If the teacher wasn't qualified to teach, I'd be pretty irritated. We're all human, skin doesn't change that, and we should stop treating people like it does. If my kid was getting an unqualified teacher, I'd definantly have a word with the school board. If nothing was done, then I'd send them to a different school. I want my child to have a good education.

    • I agree on being pretty irritated and that we are all humans and skin should n ot change how we learn. Having a good education for your kid is resonable so I agree with u going to the school board and talking to them about it.

  • I would feel like I was being cheated and I would be very angry. If I was a parent and my childrens teachers weren't even quilified to teach them I would probably take legal action and probably homeschool my children.
