Off the coast of southern California a drone used to test a naval ships combat weapons system crashed into the ship. This happened because there was a malfunction with the drone and caused it to veer into the ship. Two people were injured with minor burns, but no serious damage to the ship. I think we got really lucky that no one was killed and only minor injuries occurred. Do you think we should spend more money to make sure these planes are safer to drive and handle? What impact do you think this has on the people driving drones?

I think the drones are fine, this was just a minor malfunction that won't happen again. If it does then I would spend some more money on them.
I dont think we should have to spend anymore money than we already have on the military. The drivers I am sure has a huge impact and will probably be a lot more careful now.
I agree that the drivers will be pretty shaken up. But drones are a big impact in the military and i think spending more money on this would have prevented it.
I think the US should not use drones as much I also think that they should make sure nothing goes wrong with it before they send it out with a bunch of people around. With this incident something way worse could have happened instead of just two sailors getting injured.

I heard about this on the news and it was a good thing more people weren't hurt. I hope they figure why this happened and how to prevent this. I don't think we necessarily need to spend more money on the drones until we assess the problem. The impact on the pilots of these drones because of this accident may cause them to have to careful or they need to have more training.
I'm glad no one had serious injuries and not to much damage to the ship. Spending money can go both ways though. You don't want to spend to much on something, but you cant be cheap when it comes to the lives of American pilots.
We are very lucky that no one got killed. We should at least try to take what ever it needs to prevent something like this from happening. I think we should spend more money for the sake of the people driving and handling the planes.
I was shocked to that know one got killed by this. I think to prevent something like this is taking more time to build them and spending more money on them.
