We have all had or heard of steamed broccoli with cheese, but who knew it could actually be making us like all vegetables more. Studies at a preschool gave one group of children plain Brussels sprouts and the other Brussels sprouts with cream cheese. The study showed that more kids given the cream cheese Brussels sprouts liked the taste than the kids without. normally it is said a kid should try something 8 to 10 times before the get used to it. but the kids were eating plain Brussels sprouts after only 7 times. the researches think this could change the eating habits of children around the world. I personally love almost all vegetables but I think that it helped growing up in a place like Iowa where we can grow so many fresh vegetables.
how do you think will this help childhood obesity? Do you like vegetables? Do you have a garden at home?

Great job overall! Be sure to capitalize words that should be.
Yes I think it could help alot with child obesity but who really knows who is obese and who isnt, I mean to mrs obama you could be like 100lbs of skin and bones and you would be obese but I do think it could help and yes I like most all vegetables unless they come from the school. And yes we have a big garden and yes I think it definitly helps living in Iowa.
ya I definitely think that they need to look at what kids do in a day like someone who works out a lot is going to need to eat more calories in a day and someone with a lot of muscle is going to way more but is not necessarily obese
I find that amazing. Even though the guy was being a complete jerk and not showing any respect, the veteran still stood up for him.
haha oops, thought i was putting that on you're other discussion...
ha read that and thought what are you talking about
and I bet when you had a garden you ate a lot more vegetables and I agree vegetables over junk food is always better
The only way I will ever eat Brussels Sprouts is if it has something on them. I like vegetables and during the spring and summer we are busy taking care of our garden and canning some of the vegetables. This could help childhood obesity, because some kids will eat vegetable if it is covered with cream cheese or just normal melted cheese. It kind of hides the taste of the vegetable a little bit and they will eat it.
I really think that having a garden is one way to make kids like vegetables more and I think there should be a study on that next.
I love vegetables (not Brussels) but I love them probably because I ate them a lot when I was younger and I was exposed to them. I think that exposing younger kids to vegetables and having them eat them often will definitely help childhood obesity.
