A lady with a cane decided to walk around the railings of the Grand Canyon for a "better view". She slid and started to fall in the Canyon. A gentleman grabbed her and they were both sliding into the Canyon until 2 or 3 people grabbed them and held on. The sad part of this story is that the lady never thanked the young man for saving her life. She just got up and walked away, like it had never happened. Read more Story.
Why do you think the woman just walked away? Was she embarrassed or just frightened?
If you were the man that saved the women, What would you have done?

Excellent job!!
That's so rude. I would be a little hurt if I had saved her, because he risked his own life as well. But then again, you don't do things like that because you want recognition....you do it because it's the right thing to do, whether the lady acknowledges that or not.
That's awful this is the true upsetting part of the world when good people are taken for granted leaving them in the dark, and maybe she did have an excuse like she had Alzheimer's and was very confused but if I was the man I would have chased after her to see if she was okay or needed anything else to see what went wrong.
How rude of the lady not to thank him. He risked his life for her and she returns the favor by just walking away. I would have thanked him and give him money for how thankful I would have been.
I would have saved her but I would have been really mad that she didn't atleast thank me
I think the man deserve a thank you from the lady. Maybe she was embarrassed that it happened. If I was the man I wouldn't have said anything to the lady.
A thank you is always nice to say after something like that. Maybe she was embarrassed that she fell or something like that. Yes, it is kind of rude to just walk away, but we don't know what she was thinking or what was going on in her head.
She may have been shaken up and just wasn't thinking when she got up. I would have been frightened. If I was the man, I would be a little upset, but mostly happy that she was okay and didn't fall and die.
If you were the man, You would have to be a bigger person. The women probably thanked him later.
This sounds mean and not thankful. But i guess if she was really really embarrassed.
