The first report for coronavirus in the Dominican Republic was on a cruise line. It was a Italian citizen that is 62 on vacation. The man showed no symtoms of the virus when he went into the country. Later he was isolated at a military hospital to keep away from others. The ship was denied access when they reported the case. Soon the ship found a place to dock and get the man to a hospital. The people on the cruise were flown to Britian, and those who were going to board were flown do St. Maarten. Some passangers that were aboard at the time at symptoms of the flu, but no symptoms of the virus.
If you were on the cruise what would you do if you found out someone had the coronavirus?
I would isolate myself in my room to keep away from people so that I don't catch anything.
Would you go on a cruise ship anytime soon with the coronavirus outbreak?
No I wouldn't because I woudn't want any chance of getting it, and plus there can be other sicknesses going around on cruises.
How do you feel about cruise ships coming in and out of ports in the U.S.?
I kind of worry because you never no there could be a case of coronavirus and any other sicknesses, which could lead to getting even more people sick.

I would react to the situations based on how the virus spreads. I would try to stay healthy so I could help others. I don't think the coronavirus is as big as we all think and I don't think it should stop people from living their lives.
If I were on the cruise I would probably put a mask on and some gloves and resquest that they take you somewhere safe. I would still go on a cruise sometime soon becuase the chances of them letting someone on the ship who has it is very low. I think that the cruise ships need to be checked when they come to U.S. ports.
If I was on a cruise on found out that someone else had it I would stay away from that person so that I dont get it. Also I think that people should stop traveling on cruise ships until the coronavirus is over because people from all over the would are on one boat and disease is easy to spread.
I agree with you, if I was on a cruise that had someone with coronavirus I would stay in my room and try and stay away from where thet person is. I would not go on a cruise anytime soon, because of, one the time of year, and two that the coronavirus is showing up on alot of cruise ships.
I would stay as far away as i possible can just because I wouldn't want to get sick. Also the sickness would be around the whole cruise and spreading pretty fast. I'm not worried to much about it because I am not that close to the ports on where they would be going through. I would not go on a cruise for a while becasue it could still be on the cruise.
I would want off right immedately becasue I don't want to be around someone that has the virus. I want to beable to have fun on cruise and not get sick. I wouldn't go on any cruise right now because there are people out there that are trying to spread the virus on purpose. I feel like the ship need to stop letting people on the ship if they are sick.
I agree, I would cose myself in so I dont come incontact with anyone and try to find a mask so I dont breath any of the virus in. I dont think so because it is to high of a risk of getting the virus and i dont want it because it would hurt me and the people ariund me.
1. Sure, I don't really care if the oubreak is on the ship, I hav enever been on a cruise before and I've always wanted to so I'd still go.
2. As long as they keep bringing in all of our necessities, I won't think about it, just make sure you just dust them off when they come in and your all good.
i would probably try to do the same thing as you and stay away from everyone, and probably stay in my room as much as posible. i think it is risky to go on a cruise right now and i think that all of the cruises people should be tested for the coronavirus so it doesn't spread more than it has already.
I would isolate myself and wash my hands lots of times a day to ensure i don't get sick. No I would want to wait until it is cured to go on vacation anywhere in the world just to lower my chance of getting the corona virus. I think that it is fine as long as we isolate everyone and make sure they are healthy before they are released into the public.
