How many of you listen to country music? if you have then you might know who Dolly Parton is she is known as the queen of country. she recently started singing gospel songs. she says the reason she is focusing on Christian music is that she felt like God was calling her to do so.

I do not know I know that she has a great voice, but I never really listened to her before and I still do not think that I will listen to her now. I hope that she has good luck with this type of music as she had in the last one.
I think that she can do whatever she wishes, if her new style is singing about god in every song then let her. She is a good singer and I have not listened to her in a while anyways so you do you gorl.
I think it was a good idea to switch her singing style. Switching it up now and then can bring new fans and it isn't the same thing every time. I think her new songs wont be as popular as her older ones since she is trying something new and people might not like the new music.

I agree Because in life it is good to change things up and she is a very good signer so I think that was a good move. No i do not think they will be the same there is just some songs that will always be that persons best song, also the culter has changed to more hip hop and there is just not as much space anymore for that kind of music to blow up like it would have 30 years ago.
I agree that anything Dolly Sings will be successful not only because of her outstanding voice but because of the name and fame she has built for herself. I think the country music and christain music are fairly close to each other and can be easily intermixed. I don't think that any of her new music will be as popular as her older music.
I think it can be good but at the same time it could be bad becasue she might loose fans casue they don't belive but at the same time she can also gain new fans. No becasue like I said earlier people might stop listening andnot liking as for those songs everyone like and listened to.
