Cynthia Edgar was walking a black lab. When she was walking it the lap got away from her. For about two weeks she put over 70 signs around her surrounding towns and businesses hoping to find Puff - the black lap. Then Holly Pinto was walking in to a car dealership. She started hearing a whimper. That is when she found Puff in the storm drain. Though, by the look Puff wasn't gonna make it out strong. They tried food to get her to come out, but all she needed was Cynthia's voice. After she heard her voice Puff came right out.
Puff is now in good shape. Labs can actually go with out food for a long amount of time, though there was water for her. Then when Cynthia took Puff to her vet she only had a small scratch.

This is Puff.
What do you think of this story? What would you do if this happened to you? Would you be worried?

Good job Molly!
it is really good she found her dog in not bad condition, it shows how attached animals can become to their owners
Yes, Puff was lucky to turn out safe.
I'm really happy she found her dog! Dogs are like family to some people and I know id be worried
People do get close to dogs. I would be worried also.
I guess I am not really a dog lover so first I wouldn't have a dog but, if someone else lost their dog I would be worried for them because I know how people can get when they loose their dog. A dog to them is like their best friend. I am very surprised that Puff didn't have any broken bones or anything. I wonder how it survived without food for so long?
It did have water, just no food. Sometimes water is good enough for dogs.
I would be worried because my dog can get in even smaller spaces that that. My dog would probably get stuck and die of anxiety. It's amazing that Puff was still in good shape when they found her, and she came out of the storm drain when she heard her owners voice.
Same with my dog. Tiny dogs are very mysterious and you just have to watch for them.
