A family dog named Reggie needs surgery after eating her owners homework. The girl Payton had made a volcano project for science and left it on the desk overnight. The next morning she had come downstairs and it was all over the floor. The dog had eaten some of it and had to have emergency surgery. Fifty straight pin had showed up on the abdominal x-ray. Some were removed with an endoscope, but there were still more to get out. The dog has recovered and is fine and acting normally.

  • Good job overall but be sure to pose a question to the audience.

  • This is kind of funny, since the dog ended up being OK. Isn't it the most stereotypical excuse possible? I think this is something that will always be a funny story, unless the dog got hurt by it.

    • Yes, it's funny but sad that the dog got hurt the girl needs to learn not to put things where the dog can reach it.

  • Yes, it is sad that this dog got hurt and had to get surgery. But maybe the girl should have her things elsewhere so things like this don't happen.

  • I love how her story is true about my dog ate my homework, but it is so sad for the dog. It is a good thing the dog is ok!

    • It is a good thing the dog is ok, but I think the girl should think before she puts things somewhere.

  • This is a very funny and ironic story. I am glad that the dog is ok, and I think that the girl should get to redo her project since her dog really did eat it.

    • I'm glad the dog is ok, hopefully next time  she will think twice before doing something.

  • I'm glad the dog is okay. I hope the girl learns her leason and keeps those type of things out of reach of animals.

    • I agree hopefully the girl does her work somewhere else or keeps the dog out for awhile. Poor dog.
