Studies have shown that smoking in the lower and working class has remained the same. More people are smoking in poorer communities. Its easy to blame living in poverty and stresses of life can make you start smoking or using tobacco. Chronic stress and poverty also drives unhealthy habits.
Do you think that being poor makes you smoke more than those who aren't poor?

Interesting topic but be sure to stay away from yes/no questions as it limits what people can say.
I feel like more people that are poor do smoke more than those who aren't. But that also isn't an excuse to smoke. You also would think if you were poor you wouldn't want to do those things because you would save money for the things you actually need.
I think that smoking around the lower class is more acceptable and common because it is just how everyone around them is. For the middle-upper classes it is looked at as a bad thing whereas it is common for poorer people.
Rich people might care more about their health and appearance and they think smoking is bad for their image.
I don't quite understand how they manage to pay for the products either its kinda surprising how they happen to get them
I get how the stress of having less money would make them want to smoke but they just need to realize it's not helping their money problems.
What i don't understand is how they can afford it. I'm not an expert but i am pretty sure that takes a good lump of cash.
It is their choice to do so, the stress makes them want something to help them so they turn to addicting products.
No, it doesn't matter how rich or how poor you are anything can happen I've heard of lawyers smoking and I've heard of homeless people smoking
no i think its the way they choose to spend there money
