In my experience living in a big city and a rural town, the cultural differences are staggering to say. The cultural differences in rural areas may be greater than a city's but both equally have some learning to do from eachother. When I think of the first thing rural towns lack, I think of the lack of open mindedness for new information and the inequality problems. People in rural towns should open their minds to more than just themselves and only on what they want to do. They should learn to be more accepting of people and their differences. It is much easier to progress through problems with people whose minds work different than your own, thats why accepting people no matter who they are as well as accepting their knowledge is something small rural town should learn.
Do you think Rural towns need to be exposed to more views?

Great topic choice Philip and one that hasn't been done before so +5. I do think your summary is quite brief overall and you didn't reply to any students comments which is worth 30 points. This is also over a week late.
I think that if rural towns are exposed to the public, it might ruin the culture that we currently have. For example, if we show them our price of living, the may become jelous of our lower costing products and come live here instead of in a city.
In my opinion small towns definitely need to get exposed to more views because people should learn how to respect what others think or believe, not only in politics. There are a lot of diversity in current world and rural areas could take advantage of it.
I like the way small towns are now and I want them to stay the same. Small towns are nice to be in because everyone knows each other and pretty much has the same views on everything so it's nice to not have any city people come in and they don't know much about the country side so it would be to weird to accept city people in small towns.
I think that it would be beneficial to small rural towns to be exposed to different cultures, this would allow smaller towns to grow and possibly gain more diversity and economy.
I personally think that it would be beneificial for rural towns to be exposed to different cultures, and allow us to widen our insight on the world in general. We don't see too much diversity, and I think that can make us more close minded in our small area.
I think that it would not hurt for rural towns to be exposed to different cultures, but I also feel like we are somewhat okay the way we are. It would benefit us to know more about our world and it would allow us to be less close minded than we are.
I think rural areas are very much in need of more exposure to different things. Small towns are critically small-minded and have never been exposed to any type of diversity just because it's a small area, and the people have views that are Cerca-1960 instead of 2022.
I think rural towns are good the way they are. People from small towns tend to come from similar backgrounds, therefore, they have a lot of the same views. City people tend to accept different people better, but I like small towns the way they are right now.
I definitely think rural towns need to have more exposure to different views and beliefs. People in rural towns tend to be more close-minded that people in urban towns due to a lack of exposure. The world would be a more accepting and friendly place if everyone was educated.
