Do kids have enough time to do it all? If you do sports or have a job or go to a church do you have enough time to do your homework? Schools put a lot on us. They have high expectations for us to get homework for 8 classes done, study for tests, and work on projects. Plus with all that you have to get done, high school students have jobs. There isn’t enough time to do it all.
If you play sports, you have practice right after school till like 5 or 6. I know not everyone does sports but it's a big time consumption with games on weekdays not getting home till 9 or so. Websites say school sports take up 18 hours a week. this doesn't just mean sports, Jobs take up 4-8 hours if you work normally and work more on the weekends. You get done witn school at 3 then work till maybe 7 or later.
If you remember we had a hybrid schedule for the first 2 weeks last year, so you had more time to do your homework. Most people didn’t like it because we were split up by our names. It could change to everyone coming to school one day then not the next. It would help students finish homework or take tests. It would also help teachers have time to plan more.

I think school gives homework not to better our learning, but more as busy work for a dumb grade. Lately, the school has been so stressful. Having covid and having to get caught up was hard. I have basketball practice and games with double the amount of work. Just when I think I'm caught up I have BPA to go to. It's never-ending.
I do think that schools do give us too much homework finish for the next day. I do have enough time to do it because I have a study hall. Sometimes I do feel pressured to complete it, but only when I have a lot of homework to complete.
I do feel that at times that schools do give us a lot of homework. I would say I have a pretty busy schedule and it does become a little stressful staying up late trying to finish homework for the next day when you had a after/before school activity. Yes and I do have to stay up late most nights finishing everything for the next day.
I do feel that schools currently assign too much homework. Many students already have very little time to themselves with sports and jobs. Adding homework on top of that adds a lot of stress. Many times students do not even have enough time to do all of the homework; even if they stay up late into the night completing it.
I think schools should give us more time by taking away homework and giving us more time to study for test and not have such high expectations for students. They should also give us some slack on some school work.
I think that in some classes we do tend to get sometimes too much homework or the night. Most of us have a job and extra ciricular activities, so I feel liek it would be hard for those students to have homework to do at night. These might not get enough sleep if they have all this homework and everything else they have after school.
I think that schools give us plenty of time for ourselves its just that most of the students and over exagerating about the time and they dont manage there time well and they lose that time doing nothing then spend the time they have in school complaining about it
I think that school shouldn't even give us homework because people have work and sports right after school and don't have a lot of time to get that done. I also don't know why we have homework when we have to go to school for 8 hours then get home or go to work or sports then do more homework after that.
I think yea there is alot of homework and yea maybe we do need more time to work i do feel a little pressure at night
