Do Animals Commit Suicide?

Do you think animals commit suicide? Richard O'Barry says they do. I don't think I've ever thought about it, but I can see it being very possible.

It's not really possible to actually scientifically figure that out is it? They might, or they're just really dumb and get killed all the time.

I wouldnt think animals would commit suicide. I agree with Brooke I dont think they really have to much depression problems.

i don't think they would. how would they. they'd have to like starve themselves or suffocate themselves. and how would they even know how to kill themselves. no way.

I don't think that they do because even if they are neglected they don't run out in front of cars on purpose. They do seem to know when they are going to die though.

I don't think they would commit suicide. I don't think they would really have that type of thought.

i think its posiable. my mom has this little saying that when animals r in pain or dont feel good they go and hang out by the road to jump in front of a car and commit suicide. hahahaha i no my mom is a lil weard

they could if they are suffering but i don't think it happens a lot. That could br pretty interesting to know tho.

I think that animals could be depressed but i don't think they are capable of killing themselves.
