The thing that i really remember is the Patriot. I love that movie but Mrs Travis skipped all of the really bloody secens and most of the curse words but thats ok. i hope to watch it again so time.
Like almost everybody else I remeber watching 'The Patriot'. It's an amazing movie and I think it really gave us a different look on what happened, and how it effected the families at home. I also like the reconstruction era which is why I chose it for my blog.
Ok this might sound like I am a history geek but I am not. I love the topic of civil war. Me and my family reenact the civil war. There is nothing like wearing 9 layers of clothes on a 90 degree day. hehe
Well, I remember making book covers... we colored. And I remember Mrs. Travis cutting rice crispie rolls in front of our class and not letting us try any.. and then I think she taught us something about native americans and settling in the colonies. I remember the end of the year projects that had to relate with something we learned that year so I made a report on my family tree traced back to the Mayflower. That's about it.
All i really remember is the American Revolution and watching the Patirot. It was a really good movie. I liked how it showed the way the fighting style was
I also don't remember very much stuff that we learned about, but thing things I do remember are talking about the Louisiana Purchase, the Revolutionary War, and Watching the Patriot
I really only rember learning about the American Revolution from 8th Grade US History. I liked watching the movie, The Patriot, during class. The movie was good and it also gave me a visuale of the war.
All I really remember is Mrs. Travis getting really mad our class and giving us private lunches, I remember watching the patriot and presenting some project at the end of the year. We talked a lot about American Colonization as well.
To be honest i don't remember much. We learned about the Revolutionary War. I liked the fact that we got to watch The Patriot because it was a good movie and i learned more watching it than reading about it.
