According to the Tampa Bay Times President Donald Trump may have faked the positive coronavirus test. Some people say that it would give him a political advantage to say he survived COVID and that it isn't that bad. They also say that he "needed a resest from the white supremisist talk," and speculate if he "is faking having the virus so he doesn't have to debate with Joe Biden again." They even predicted that he would miraculasly recover after taking a vaccine.
There is a flaw with all this conspiracy. People around Trump have tested positive and he was also sent to the hospital which does not make him look strong. He also has been excersing symptoms like being lathargic, and also cold-like symptoms. It would also be bad for his campaign because he is trying to minimize cases and to fake having it would not be beneifcial to this. Also this will not help him get votes because he is in quarantine with his wife. Therefore, he will not be able to go to Florida, Wisconsin, or Arizona to get their votes.
Personally, I think that Trump did not fake it. He has alot more to lose than gain by faking it. He also went to the hosptal which would make him look weak and not give the right image. He is missing out on votes and debates which he desperately needs. I do think it is interesting that there is a conspiracy about Trump faking it. The article did bring up some good points and it is definetly possible. Im excited to see what other people have to say.

I personally don't think that he would fake the virus because there is absolutely no reason for him to do that. I think that the media thought that this was definetly not true because again, there was absolutely no reason for him to fake this. This is just outrageous that somebody would think that the President of the United States would fake having the Corona Virus.
No, because what would he have to gain over it? Money? Fame? He would have to go through all that trouble for absolutely nothing. I think they handled this very inappropriately. Mos social media likes to spread rumors therefore it could all be false.
I don't really think Trump would've faked it. I agree that there is much more risk to it than he could gain. He could've done it because at the time, many bad things and claims about Trump had come out, and he may have used this to get away from that. But I don't think that he necessarily did fake the virus.
I diagree with you and wholeheartedly think that Trump faked it. Theres no way that he didnt theres just way to many coincidences. He defentily did just use it to escape all the bad things being said about him and he was just trying to bring something bigger up.
I don't think that Trump faked it because he would have to go through a lot of trouble for everyone involved to lie for him. He would also get into a lot of trouble if the conspiracy turned out to be true that he lied about it.
I agree that everyone around him would get in trouble, but really what does he have to lose. Hes not going to win the presidental campaign and so he could afford a little lie. He for sure faked it and the consiracy is for sure right.
I don't think he faked having coronavirus because it would be big trouble if people find out he was faking it but the way recovered so fast at his age also gives something to think about. but I don't see the reason of why he would've faked been infected.
I can see how the president would've faked having corona virus, but I do not see why he would attempt to fake having the disease. Politically it would just be horrific if the press had actual proof that it were fake. If he's already struggling to win the election this blunder would likely completely ruin his chances to be reelected, but you have to remember that this wouldn't be the only factor, in fact, this would probably be one of the smallest of factors that could lead to him not being reelected.
I agree itd be terrible if the press found out he had the virus. It would ruin his already bad chance at getting reelected. I dont know if i agree with it being a small factor if he were to fake it because he could possibly be impeached and kicked out of office for that.
