Destiny 2 Apology for 'Nazi-inspired' Kekistan Flag

Destiny 2 Developer, Bungie, was in hot water when people found a hunter gauntlet in the game that resembled the 'Kekistan flag' associated with internet trolls and alt-right. The item matches the design and coloring of the kekistan flag - a banner made for a fictional country, which anti-racism campaigners says was modeled on a Nazi war flag. Bungie said "It has come to our attention that a gauntlet shares elements with a hate symbol." "It is not intentional, we are removing it." Bungie has not provided any other information on how the art has been included in the first place.

  • Good job overall. You could have commented a few more times and also be sure to include your personal thoughts into your summary. -15 late

  • If I were a game developed and my team found this in the game, I would work as quickly as possible to figure out how it got into the game along with figuring out a solution to get it out of the game. If I were a fan of this game and found a symbol like this in it, I would be very concerned about the game and wonder what else similar to this is in the game. Finding a symbol like this may cause be to stop being a fan on the game.

  • If I was the game developer, I would make sure that something like this would never happen. If for some crazy reason it did, I would apologize for what had happened and quickly take care of the issue. If I were a fan, I probably wouldn't be a fan for long. It would be disappointing to find something so bad in a game that you really enjoy.

  • If I was the game developer, I would take it down. I would also give an apology to everyone. If I was a fan, I would try to let the developers know, but they are probably all to busy for me and they would probably just ignore me.

  • 1.If it was my fault I would take the blame for it and fix what had happened. But if it was not my fault and someone else I would try and help fix it.

2.I mean I would try and say something it the developers but they are all busy and pry would just ignore what I would say.

  • If I were a game developer, I would more than likely take it down. I wouldn't make that big of a deal out of it because it could've been a mistake or they didn't mean it like that. If I was a fan of this game, I would probably just ignore it.

  • I would think it was an accident and wasn't supposed to be there or maybe they put the wrong thing i don't really know but I wouldn't think much about it. I honestly wouldn't really care because I would think it was an accident so I wouldn't think much of it but I mean everyone is obviously different so everyone views things differently.

  • I'm sure it would be a accident but today's media has to blow everything out of proportion. I am a fan of this game, i play in my spare time and this is not going to stop me from playing. Bungie works very hard and  makes great games, they would never intentionally put something in there game that would create segregation or strife.

    • Same here. I am a huge fan of Destiny and I thought it was a mistake too. It just makes for i guess an interesting story.

  • I would think that it was a accident and take is out not thinking anything of it.

I would try and get a hold o the company and let them know of the flag,
