Denver WR Decker penalized for saluting Troops

Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker was penalized for saluting the troops after he scored a 56 yard touchdown from QB Tim Timbow(who only threw 8 passes) then got on a knee to salute the Military.

I think the refs need to fired for a stupid call like that. He was saluting the Men and Women who protect this country.

    You can't go down on a knee, that's the rule. It's one of the stupidest rules in the league, but that's the rule. Besides, when saluting someone, you're supposed to be standing straight up. This reciever is just dumb.

    i can see how they might have thought he was being sarcastic or something along those lines, but come on! the refs + the nfl are getting so pathetic! i bet eric decker will end up getting a fine for this too.... just because the nfl wants more money.

    Wow! I agree, that is such a stupid call. It's ok to do that, but gatting on his knee and doing that is a little much. He could have just stood there and saluted then just run back to the sideline.

    i think that is stupid like joey said he is saluting then men and women who fight for our country. HE didnt have to get on his knees but he should be able to salute them. the refs are dumb

    I agree that really was stupid I think he was saluting not mocking or something that the refs thought.

    Thats pretty dumb to be penalized for saluting our troops. i say we bring back all celebrations!

    The referees should defiantly loose their job. Oviosly they liked the other team better.
