Last week former NBA Star Dennis Rodman made his fourth visit to North Korea in the past year. The bizarre relationship between Rodman and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un continued as the 2 hung out together during a basketball game which pitted American Players against North Korean Players. The Americans lost 47-39. Rodman played for a small portion of the game, but the highlight of the evening was when Rodman led the stadium in singing “Happy Birthday” to Kim Jong Un.
Things got even more controversial when Rodman returned and made rude remarks regarding the imprisoned American. Instead of using his influence on Kim Jong Un to convince him to release the American, he completely ignored the issue and he even blamed the American, saying he was at fault. He apologized later saying that he was drunk and stressed out. Personally, I think this whole situation is messed up and that Rodman is crazy. What do you think of Rodman’s idea of “Basketball Diplomacy”? Do you think Rodman’s apology cut it?

Well done once again!
I think the fact that he was drunk, he didn't really know what was going on. But I do agree with you.
I believe that his Idea for basketball diplomacy is a good one, but he is always to drunk to put it into effective action. Although he's not doing all that he should, at least he's lightening the mood.
I think that Rodman over stepped his boundaries by trying to help solve some of the problems between North Korea and the United States. If anything I think that he might have made the situation worse.
I think that Rodman is getting a little carried away with the diplomacy part. Even though he has been over there 4 times, nothing has resulted other than a relationship with Kim Jong Un. His apology really didn't help matters and I don't think it was enough.
I agree, I don't really see anything developing from Rodman's so called "Basketball Diplomacy"
This guy is a wacko, you can tell that by his hair. I would not be surprised if he got arrested for doing something illegal pretty soon.
I agree with you Caleb, he seems pretty wacko...
I think that Basketball Diplomacy is a good idea. We need to lessen the tensions we have with North Korea, but Rodman's relationship with Kim Jong Un is very weird.
I agree that Kim Jong Un and Rodman's relationship is weird. The whole "Basketball diplomacy thing to me is fine, I guess... I doubt it will help much but then again I don't think it'll hurt either..
