You've probably heard of QAnon by now, the internet conspiracy theory that has taken root on the American right among many.
Yet you may also have concerns about exactly what's happening.
Once a fringe phenomenon, QAnon was the kind that most people could safely overlook. But it has gone mainstream lately. In 2020, supporters of QAnon flooded social media with false data on Covid-19, the Protests and the presidential election, Black Lives Matter, and attracted legions of new believers to their ranks. A NPR and Ipsos December poll found that 17 percent of Americans believed that QAnon's central falsehood was true, that "a group of Satan-worshiping elites that run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media."
Some of the signs bear pictures of pizza slices, a nod to the conspiracy theory of Pizzagate that held that Hillary Clinton ran a pedophilia network out of a gimmicky pizza parlor in Washington DC called Comet Ping Pong. But the root of it is that national Democrats are operating a huge ring dedicated to the kidnapping, trafficking, torture, sexual exploitation and cannibalization of children, all with the intention of performing the rites of their Satanic religion, supported by Hollywood and a community of global elites.
Do you believe in QAnon?
Do you think QAnon is a little over dramatic?
Why would you disagree with their statements.

Good job on your summary even though I would like to see more of your thoughts and opinions within it. You didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points. -10 late
I don't believe in QAnon, I think that people are to easily influenced by what others say on the media. People need to have more facts to back up what they are saying. The claims they are making are over the top and have no evidence. I disagree with what they say because it is very crazy and out there. I like to believe that people are kind until they are proven not to be so why whould the democrats do such a thing.
I do not believe in QAnon because they are a conspiracy theory that blames and puts pressure on Democrats and tries to hurt their reputation. The kidnapping, child trafficking, and cannabalism along with the supposed pedophile acts are just ridiculous and outrages. I do not believe in these conspiracy theories.
No, I don't believe in the QAnon because it's just a conspiracy theory. The QAnon is for sure over dramatic. WHere are they getting all these ideas? There is a reason it is a conspiracy theory because there aren't enough facts to back it up.
I think it is a very radical opinion and most times aren't backed up by anything. I personally don't believe in QAnon but they seem to just be trying to get their word out by being dramatic. Its horrible to even think that anybody would do anything QAnon believes democrats do but there is always a possibility.
No, I don't believe in Qanon. I think that if anything it is just a waste of time and just for people who having nothing else to believe. I think that their statements are a way over the top about Hillary Clinton and the sex ring.
I don't believe in QAnon, I think that by now if it was true there would some proof out. I do think it's overdramatic and very dangerous and I feel like conspiracies like this one can be very dangerous and most of the time they aren't taken as seriously as they should, they can lead to extreme actions by some people.
I don't believe in Qanon, no. I think that Qanon is more than just a little dramatic, it's a very dangerous and untrue conspiracy theory that has lead to terrorist actions taken from its mentally ill believers. I disagree with their statements because there is absolutely no evidence to them and they are harmful and ridiculous.
I would be truly astonished if QAnon was real. At this point in time, a lot of our people are just looking for absolutely any reason why their oposing party and party officials might be horrible people partaking in illegal activity so they can move them out. QAnon is definitely over dramatic. It sounds like something a vile ten year old came up with and it's incredible that even 17% of Americans believe it.
I do not believe in QAnan. I think it is very over dramatic. I doubt anyone in their right mind would do this. If that ring is really that large I believe someone would call it out by now. There is also no real factual evidence. It is probably just trying to make the democrats look bad.
