A 25 year old Florida man shot his older brother in a dispute May 5th. The brother, mother and another man were out drinking and came home late that night, Both brothers began arguing and fighting which led up to the younger brother shooting the older brother. The reasoning of the shooting is not completely understood but the mother of the boys said something about a cheeseburger. The youngest brother had his first court appearance on Saturday after the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Now it is Mothers Day and the mother is without her two boys.

I would want my child to go to jail because he committed a crime. Some people fight over the stupidest things, and it can lead to something like this or to the point where they hit each other, etc.
Yes, I would want the son to go to jail because even though it would be my kid he still killed someone. Maybe they were to out of it during the fight and were fighting over who got it when everything took a dealy turn
No, as long as it wasn't intentional, he shouldn't go to jail, but if it was, I think I would need some time away from him and he would need some time to cool off and think about what he did. I have no clue what the cheeseburger had to do with it.
I would be really sad about it but I think that's the correct thing to do so I would definitely support the officers for sending him to jail. Probably something really stupid but they were drunk so whatever it was they weren't thinking correctly

I think more details need to be told because the information provided dosent add up. Somebody got shot over a cheeseburger, even if drunk somebody would not do that, I believe their is a major part of the story not being told. If I wad the mother, it would depend on what the older brother did to cause him to get shot.If the older brother was getting violent/mad during the dispute then no for self defense. If something as silly as a burger then yes. But no matter on what it was about I believe that his brother did not intend to kill him
I think he should be sent to jail after committing this big of crime. I think alcohol was a big factor in by they were fighting over a cheeseburger. I also think that something else could've triggered this argument.
That is hard to say. he did commit a crime, so he definitely should, but would I WANT him to? that is hard because she just lost one son and now shes going to lose another. I am sure there was only one cheeseburger left and boys being boys started to argue over it and took it too far.
That is a good question.. Even though you know what they did is wrong you would probably still want your son to be around, but it is a good thing he is in jail.. He obviously needs to get some help. Maybe they were arguing over who would get to eat it I don't know, but it is terrible that an innocent man had to die over something so stupid.
