Kyle Nolan was an 18 year old boy who lived a normal childhood life. He dropped out of junior college and was living with his mother. During this time after research he had found a drug that is in the Amazon that could change his life. He was convinced that this is what he was suppose to do. He took the right measurements and clean his system of unhealthy habits and did even more thorough research. He family told him many times that he did not need to set out on this quest. He didn't listen and spent around 2,000 dollars to head out. He family heard from him when he first arrived. After a couple of days they had not heard a word and set out to find him. No luck approached the family. Finally they found his body buried underneath a bush. The shaman said he didn't know what had happened but was a lie. Autopsy's came up inconclusive in both the Amazon and United States.
So, what happened to Kyle drug over-dose, murder? What do you think and why?

I bet it had to do something with the drug. It could have been just how his body reacted to it. Hard to tell though
I agree I guess we won't know unless they put some other type of test on the body.
I think if you are in the middle of the Amazon anything can happen. But, for this particular case, I'm going to say that something went wrong with the drugs. Especially since it was a new drug that not a lot of people had tried before and he probably didn't know how much to take.
True Cassie, it could very of well been a spider or insect though that killed him. They will probably have more tests run on the body being this is a rare case.
I think that he overdosed on this drug or had a negative response to it. I don't think the shaman killed him, but it was good that he got sentenced to prison for lying. It's strange that the autopsy's were inconclusive. I don't think Kyle should have tried to use a drug to fix his problems.
I agree he must not have read enough about the drug and overdosed without realizing it or got addicted to it.
It could have been anything, the Amazon is full of many species of venomous snakes and frogs but if the test's came up inconclusive then it could possibly be murder. Im not sure if a poison from a poison dart frog would show up on an autopsy or not but it could have been many things.
It said that it might be a drug overdose and the shaman just didn't want to take the blame so they hid his body.
