4 were killed and 9 were injured after a truck plunged off the San Diego bridge into a crowd of people at a festival. The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence causing deaths and injuries. The truck struck a guard rail causing it to leap 60 feet downward into the crowded park.
What do you think San Diego could do to prevent this from happening again?
Will the punishment be less since he’s in the navy or not?

I think just build better guard rails to be honest. And I think that he shouldn't be punished less because killing is killing. It doesn't matter who does it, it's still killing.

If he caused a lot of injuries, I don't think he can really get out of any punishment since he is in the navy. I guess they could have stronger guardrails along roads in populated areas.
I completely agree with you Gabe. But I Believe since he was in the navy it will help in the court case but will still get kicked out of the navy.
He should be punished for his actions. It doesn't matter if he was the president of the U.S.A. He did what he did and he should be punished. If a normal person would do this they would be punished. We should not give special treatment.
I don't think that they can really stop people from doing it. It is done on their own free will. It would be costly to change all the roads if they wanted to make it safe.
Nothing probably. I doubt they would go change every road in the city just because of this. Unfortunately, stuff happens sometimes, and the guard rail didn't do its job. I think the punishment will be the same.
make sure that the drivers are not intoxicated or sleep deprived. I don't think it should be because he killed people and injured some.
