Questions:
What would you do if this happened in Harlan?
Would you try and flee or help people?

BYour summary is a bit brief overall and be sure to comment to student replies.
I would try and protect my self and get some peoples attention and help them get safe too.
I would not know what to do. This is very scary and I would panic a lot. I am sure I would try to get away the best I could, but sometimes that isn't good enough. I would first help myself and then help others. Like they tell you on airplanes, you put the oxygen mask on yourself and then on others. I know it sounds selfish, but you are on this earth for a reason and have to fight battles like these.
I would try to stay calm and protect my head or any part of my body. There would most likely not be anytime to flee. Not many people know when an earthquake is going to hit.
That would be interesting to experience. I never been in one and don't plan to be . If it happened in Harlan I'm out . I think it would depend on the situations on if I would try and help someone.
