Deadly Earthquakes

Sunday December 7, 2014 a deadly earthquake killed 2 people. In Tacloban an earthquake killed 6,000 and left 200,000 people homeless. This all happened in 13 months, this caused a lot of people to move.

Do you think it will ever be safe to live in tacloban?

  • Probably not, and people should be aware of the geography of the land they live in.

  • Maybe if you are a thrill seeker, but i honestly think it will never be a safe place to live but it can always be enhabitabl

  • I think no matter how torn down an area can get, it can always be able to be brought back up, mentally and physically.

  • Just depends if earthquakes keep happening it will never be safe.

  •  Earthquakes will always be possible so you will have to live with the danger.

  • The city Is most likely on a large fault, there for the city, in my opinion, will never be safe

  • I don't think that it's a safe place now because 6,000 died and 200,000 are homeless so it's a really bad situation over there.

  • Obviously at this point of time it isn't a safe place at all to live if 6,000 people died and 200,000 were homeless all in a year is a huge shock. I think that they need to evacuate the area because it is getting out of control.

  • I'm glad that not many people got hurt during this earthquake. I have to say that it is indeed a dangerous place because how many people were hurt from the first earthquake.

  • No, anywhere that has earthquakes is not the best place to live.
