In game 5 of the 2020 NBA finals a few days ago, Danny Green missed an open three to win the game for the Lakers and the Lakers would've been crowned champions. Many people are bashing him for missing the shot and I personally do not think that is necessary. Him and his wife, Blair, also received death threats over social media and it was just becuase he missed a shot. Like c'mon guys, is it really necessary to tell someone they should die because they missed a shot. People miss shots all the time.
People are also mad at Lebron James for passing the ball to him when he could've taken the last shot instead of him. Lebron says that he trusted him and that he made the right play by not shooting it. The Miami Heat did end up winning the game forcing a game 6 and it is 3-2, Lakers. Anyways I just think that it's dumb how he is receiving death threats and it isn't necessary at all.

I dont think he deserved death threats at all. Nobody deserves death threats. He just missed A shot. It's pretty common to miss a shot, its not like the world is gonna end if he doesnt make the shot. Lebron said he trusted his teammate and made the right play by not shooting it. So if i were Lebron, I wouldnt of taken the last shot.
No because all he did was miss the last shot. It's kind of stupid that people go as far as telling someone they should die over a game they dedicate their life too. No, because it seemed like the right choice to do in the first place.
I don't believe that anyone deserves death threats at all, unless they were a mass murderer ot something to that degree. It is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary to threaten his life because he missed a shot and lost a game. Everyone makes mistakes and the world didn't stop turning because he missed the shot, so people need to calm down.
This is not necesarry because so many people miss wide open shots granted not many people have the chance to play in the championship you always can regain and learn from it. The death threats are so unecesarry because there were so many more shots that could have made them win that game. Lebron is saying he trusted his teammate is good because you should have trust in your teammates.
I definitely agree that it is not necesarry to bash him for missing a shot, especially death threats. There were probably mulitple other shots missed that game that also could've affected the outcome. If LeBron trusted his teamate, then it was right of him to not take the last shot.
I like what you said about how there were multiple other shots missed that could have changed the outcome because you are totally right on that. There was atleast 50 other shots in that game that if one of them was made, then the lakers could have won.
I definitely don't think that he should've received those death threats because we all human and we all make errors and there's also no reason because the lakers still won the championship. if was LeBron I wouldn't have taken the last shot because there's a lot of pressure.
I agree, we are all human and we all make mistakes but I find it interesting how you think that you wouldn't of taken the last shot if you were Lebron just because Lebron has lots of experience dealing with final and clutch shots that could win the game.
I don't belive that he should've recieved death threats becasue those things happen all the time. Besides the Lakers ended up winning the championship anyways. If I was Lebron I wouldn't have taken the shot because I would won't someone else to get all the prasie for winning the championship.
