The Dallas Mavricks owner came in a press confrence saying that no Dallas Mavrick player is going to wear the number 24 ever again. With the Mavricks retireing the number 24 for Kobe Bryant becomes the first player to have two numbers to be in the rafters. Not only are the Mavricks retireing the number 24 but all of the other nba teams besides the Lakers who already retired Kobe Bryants two number 24 and 8 in 2017 to their rafters to pay respect to Kobe Bryant.

Yes I do think that the NBA is going to give a tribute to Kobe Bryant beacuse he was one of the youngest players to ever play in the NBA and he was also when of the best players ever. Also I do think that the NBA will do something to honor Kobe at the all star game beacuse he was elected to the all star game 18 times which makes him the second most elected player of all time just one election behind Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
