  • It's very strange that Kim Jong Un wasn't present at the ceremony, especially because there was no mention of his absence. Because nobody mentioned anything, it makes me think that there definitely was something wrong. However, since South Korea says that he is not in bad health, I suppose their close proximity to North Korea allows them to make a more accurate guess than others. But even despite the fact that he's healthy, it's still very unlike him to miss his grandpa's ceremony. Like the video said, when his father suffered from a stroke, it wasn't even mentioned and was kept a secret. When his father had had the stroke, he also didn't show up for a big event, just like Kim Jong Un. His absence, just like his father's, wasn't brought to attention, which hints that there could've been something wrong happening to him that we just don't know about.

    • I agree it is very strange and like I said to Macy, this would only happen in South Korea.

  • I don't think that Kim Jong Un is sick. If people from South Korea (who are closest to him) are saying that he's not sick, then he's probably not. However, I still think that it was peculiar that he didn't show up to the big event going on. If North Korea's leaders always show up to big event like that, I'm confused at why he would miss it. Also most of the United States evidence that he's sick comes from aerial view pictures of North Korea which means that it's not to ably not that accurate. Overall it's pretty hard to figure out what's really going on because North Korea is so secretive.

    • Thai has happened before with Kim Jong Un where he was gone for awhile and everyone thought he was dead. Very strange. Only in North Korea.
