The Cowboys get win number one of the season over San Fransisco on Sunday evening. They won in a similar way the Jets beat them last Sunday.
On the third offense play for Dallas, Tony Romo got hit hard and fractured one of his ribs. He went to the locker room, but re-entered the game after Jon Kitna threw two interceptions. Romo threw for two touchdowns (both to Miles Austin) and 345 yards with no interceptions.
On the final drive of regulation, Romo took the Cowboys down to the 49ers' 31 yard line in just under 4 minutes, and Dan Bailey kicked a 48 yard field goal as time expired to tie the game at 24.
In overtime, San Fransisco recieved but quickly had to punt. On the first play for the Cowboys, Romo threw a 77 yard pass to Jesse Holley who was tackled at the one yard line. Bailey made the 19 yard field goal to get the win for Dallas. Bailey had missed a 21 yard field in the first quater of the game.
