Couple threatend with $5,000 fine because of son being "too loud" while playing outside.

A couple from Hull, East Yorks got a letter in the mail threatening a $5,000 dollar fine because there were complaints of their 4 year old son being too loud while playing outside. They got additional threats of $500 a day if the noise continues.Any thoughts on this?

oh wow! that isnt even right! its a kid just playing outside..so what. some people are jsut crazy sometimes!

Ok, this is crazy. I mean the little boy is only four, he doesn't know better. Plus the boy was outside, so it doesn't matter that much, unless it was late at night or early in the morning, but I dout it. I don't understand why anyone would demand $5,000 though.

Is that even like legal to do? Wow that's pathetic. I mean the kid can't be being THAT loud can he? Especially fining them with that much money cause that's a lot for a small punishment like that!

ok first off all the complaints about the kid being to loud i cant understand if it continued for several days and possibly weeks, but making them pay for it? im mean its a 4 year old they are going to be loud at one point. Some people just to be more tolerant.

That's really dumb. A four year old can't be that loud that you need to fine their parents.
