Couple arrested for locking up 8 year old girl

Police in New Mexico found an 8-year-old girl locked in a cage in a darkened mobile home. The couple were charge with child abuse. Cindy Patriarchias, 33, and her boyfriend, Edmond Gonzales, 37,were arrested after police found the caged girl on friday evening. The police spokesman said police acting on a tip from the woman's estranged husband, found the girl in the corner of the bedroom locked inside a cage. No human being should have to go through what this little girl went through. These two people must have serious mental problems to do this that that little girl. I hope that they have to stay in jail for a long time, because what they did was very wrong.

There's no reason to treat an innocent child like this. If you can't properly care for a child you do them what they deserve and at least give them away to a family that can properly care for them and love them.

Wow! This is horrible! How could people do this? People are so dumb! I hope they spend time in jail for a very long time!

This is awful! I'm so glad they got caught because that's sick. I really don't know why you'd do that.

Awful. I love children and couldnt imagine doing something like that. Yes kids can be very frustrating at times but you just have to deal with it.

People going insane these days. That poor innocent little girl was locked in cage in a mobile home. What did she do to deserve this. I am glad these people are in jail for this.

That is so cruel I can't believe they did that to a little girl. She even had siblings and they only did it to her. Why would they do that to her?

I think that some people are just messed up in the head. This is just plainly wrong to lock someone in a cage.

That's terrible. I don't know what other peoples minds think. I'm just happy they got caught.
