In 2012 the West Nile Virus has infected multiple people in 38 states. With 1118 infected and 41 dead this doesn't sound like something you'd want to get.

That's scary! I hope that it stops, or they find out how to stop it. That's scary. Bugs love me! :O
That is crazy that 1,118 were infected by this. I wonder if it's so bad this year since it hasn't rained alot.
I wish people didn't have to die due to infectious disseases'! Recently my mom was pretty sure she had gotten west nile virus since she was having flu-like symptoms and having to stay home from work. There's also a chance i may have gotten it. I didn't have flu-like symptoms but i did suddenly have several bug-bites after a recent camping trip. I counted about 15 all over my legs and arms! Who knows if it was the west nile virus or not but even if not we need to prevet it!
i've always been afraid of getting the west nile because i get bit by mosquito a lot. but that is really scary about how many people have been infected. and even killed.
this is kind of a scary thought! i guess it would be good idea to wear a lot of bug spray if you go outside. I wonder why this year is going to be worst then any other year?
i hate mosquitoes. when i get bit by one it swells up really fast. they are about the only ting i am allergic too. i wouldnt want to catch this, sounds pretty scary.
I hope this virus stops because it is getting around to to many people and hopefully they can find a cure for it so if you do get it.
Wow, I will definitely think of this when I am trail riding, at cross country meets, or just outside. This year has been a perfect season for them. With stagnate pools of water sitting around from our very wet spring and mild winter. Treasa Arkfelds cow died from west Nile, she said it was sick for a month then died. They later found out that west Nile was the cause of the cow’s death.
No I hope this stops and somehow they can figure out I hope I never get it I hope they figure out why these bugs are carrying it and how we can prevent it from killing more people over 40 people is enough.
Very scary! I always saw this on the news around this time of year but now with the total deaths and infections I am quite worried. I hope no one in this area contracts this terrible illness! Is there anything you can do to prevent West Nile?
